Education and other perspectives

Education:

Things that Schools should teach: 🧠 • Being wrong is not a bad thing. • It's Okay to question what you have been taught. • Grades aren't as valuable as skills. • Understanding is more important than memorization. • Making mistakes is Okay. Learn from your mistakes.

How to handle other perspectives (not):

The former head of BYU police is in my ward and just gave the most outrageous talk and I had to leave just a few minutes in and I am still trembling with rage. HE was the victim. Only ONE officer did something wrong. He even mentioned BLM and LGBTQ protests. I am DONE!!

Too often we allow our opinions to influence how we interpret scripture when we should allow scripture to influence the formation of our opinions.

Every Christian shld read The Book of Mormon at least once, with honest intent. It’ll make you love Jesus even more. It will expand your faith in him. It will help you see the enemy’s traps more clearly. You don’t have to join the Church, but it’s a good book. You should read it.

Replying to
I completely agree. The LDS Church doesn't even believe everything in it. The book teaches the simplicity of the Gospel, that all Christians can accept and uphold. I know it is an inspired book by the way it has brought me closer to my Savior and to know His character more fully.
