By training yourself to start uncomfortable conversations, you liberate others to have the conversations they’ve desperately been wanting to have themselves. You could say this is largely what leadership is, the willingness to risk your own neck in a way that benefits others.
I once remarked here that "a broken clock is right twice a day"...
And some stupid Gen-Z'er argued I was wrong because he couldn't read an analog clock.
I think about this a lot...
The statements of science are not of what is true and what is not true, but statements of what is known with different degrees of certainty.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment:
• To launch a business
• To pursue a new project
• To start a family
The reality: There’s no such thing as the perfect moment. You'll never feel fully comfortable making a giant leap.
Trust in your preparation and ability to adapt.
I think a lot of people are so materialistic and consumer minded that they can't comprehend there are many reasons why some of us want to be 'rich' that have nothing to do with 'buying flashy stuff'.
Children, legacy, generational wealth, philanthropy, autonomy, healthcare, etc.
You need to understand how much power & money there is to gain and maintain by keeping large swathes of the population broke, in debt, sick, obese, drug addicted, uneducated, lonely, fearful, and divided against one another.
Once you understand it, the world makes more sense.
